At the Washington Heel Pain Center we are always looking for new more successful ways to cure stubborn plantar fasciitis cases. We currently have been using an injection technique in combination with shockwave therapy. The injection involves utilizing pluripotent cells, cells that can differentiate into new plantar fascia, to repair old tears or chronic cases of heel pain. The next part involves 3 sessions of shockwave therapy that increase the heeling cascade and promotes new blood supply to the fascia.
This protocol has shown amazing success even with the most stubborn cases. We have utilized this on patients with tears and patients with plantar fasciitis for years. It is done in the office and only takes about 20 minutes. The entire process allows patients to continue walking the entire time and we can even help tailor an exercise program. Don’t let heel pain control your life, get out and enjoy the things you want to do.
